GEL-PAK Receives KGD Industry Leadership Award High Tech Manufacturer cited for professional leadership with premier die handling products. Hayward, CA, October 30, 2003 GEL-PAK, manufacturer of innovative shipping and handling products, was one of four major companies honored for their ongoing contribution to the Die Products Consortium, which hosts the annual Known Good Die (KGD) Workshop. National Semiconductor, 3M and Minco were also recognized. This year marked the 10th anniversary of this International workshop which is the microelectronics industry’s leading event dedicated to packaging and test applications related to die products (bare die, flip chip, wafer level CSP). The KGD Workshop is a cooperative effort to enlarge the worldwide market for die products.
