| GEL-PAK provides a variety of carrier systems manufactured to ensure safe handling, storage and shipment of delicate devices. The "pocketless" GEL-Tray is ideal for handling devices that are typically less than 1.0mm on edge, such as GaAs FETs, laser diodes, beam-lead diodes, high-value medical and optical devices as well as small thin-film passive devices.GEL-Trays are intended for manual off-loading with tweezers or by hand.

GEL-PAK's proprietary GEL coating is applied directly to the surface of a plastic tray (BD) or glass slide (CD), which is then placed in a protective hinged carrier available in both transparent and ESD protective materials. A print pattern is available for part identification, placement and company logo.
GEL-Tray™ (CD Series) GEL coated glass slides, also available in various GEL formulations, are preferred when resistance to high temperatures is required due to hot tool off-loading. CD Series' glass slides are designed to retain their properties in temperatures as high as 200°C, with minimal change in retention level over time. The GEL-Tray CD series can simplify device inspection, including backside and edge inspection.
